What is Pickleball?

Pickleball is a fast-paced, fun, and inclusive sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis. It’s played with a paddle and a plastic ball with holes on a court that’s about one-third the size of a tennis court. The game can be played as singles (one player on each side) or doubles (two players on each side). The rules are simple, making it easy for beginners to pick up, but the game also offers plenty of challenges for more experienced players. The objective is to score points by hitting the ball over the net and into the opponent’s court without them being able to return it successfully.

Pickleball is known for its accessibility, appealing to people of all ages and skill levels. It’s a social sport that encourages interaction and community building, making it a favorite for recreational play, as well as a competitive sport with a growing presence in national and international tournaments.

The sport’s unique blend of strategy, agility, and fun has contributed to its rapid growth and popularity worldwide.
